Stranger
I went to the Sculpture Gardens today in City Park (a huge park in New Orleans). As I pushed August around in his stroller, I couldn't help but get aggrivated by the stone blocks on the path-they made August look like he was at a head-banging concert. Anyway, Aug was very calm the entire time, which contributed to my quiet afternoon. But you know, sometimes I don't want to be quiet. I am tired of quiteness. I desire some hearty, gut-renching laughter...like back in the old days. A simple cordgial conversation with a woman in passing seemed like all the afternoon had to offer. I guess I have to be thankful for the everyday interaction with strangers. That is what I feel like- a stranger.

Hey Tu...lip,
Remember back in the day...the flying tomato? Have you seen any in New Orleans, or do they only fly when a certain Brother is around? Remember Lovers Lane? There was a time when you kids weren't ready to leave, Mom was ready to leave, and you, Tim, Becca, Sam, and Jesse all came running out of the house and jumped into the pool? Well guess who got to stay longer...:) Then Rebekah worked her fingers to the bone painting that wooden swing red out on the patio and your friend Isaac comes over and smashes it all over the ground! Spaghetti was everywhere!!!
Reach deep down inside and find that gut wrenching laughter we all know that you have, and laugh, let it out and laugh out loud! We will be there in spirit laughing with you. We all love you Ashley!
